HoneyWater is very proud to announce it is sponsoring the third annual Holly Jolly Fun Run, a 5k run that will go along the same route as the Santa Claus Parade, with thousands of people cheering the runners on as the city shows it’s festive spirit. All proceeds from the race are donated directly to the parade itself, which is a non-profit aimed at giving back to the community during the holiday season.
The Santa Claus Parade has brought joy to Toronto for over 100 years, and is one of the cities most popular Holiday events. Beginning in 1913, the Toronto Santa Claus parade has made its way through the streets of downtown Toronto each year since. Today, the Santa Claus Parade is the longest running children’s parade in the world and one of the overall largest parades in the world.
To keep this wonderful tradition alive, we need you to don your running shoes, grab a naturally sweetened and refreshing HoneyWater, and hit the roads.
The race starts at 11:45am on Sunday, November 20th, just West of Bathurst St. on Bloor St. between Manning Ave. and Euclid Ave, and finishes on Bremner Blvd. just West of York St. at Maple Leaf Square. There will be a bag check areas as well as food to replenish and warm you up along the route. HoneyWater will be greeting runners at the finish line, quenching their thirst after all the fun. A map of the route is shown below. Click here to register, or to learn more about the Holly Jolly Fun Run.
We hope to see you out there!
